This is really good. Thank you for putting the time into writing this - I am glad it came to me at the right time and place!

I am so happy that you enjoyed it and that it was perfectly timed for when you needed it! What was your biggest takeaway / aha moment?!

Honestly, so much hits home. But if I had to pick a line / section that sums it up for me it is: "Most of us believe we are taking in the world and responding to it. In reality, we are often taking in the world and verifying our assumptions about it." It's strangely selfish for me - I seem to be so "me-centric" and I look for a lot of validation. But, in "reality" I use those moments to validate what I think of things. If that makes sense.

Yes, that makes so much sense. We often look to other people, situations, and outcomes to tell us what is true, versus realizing we already had the belief and the external world is simply confirming it. And the interesting part is that even when we do get the validation we’re looking for on the outside, if we don’t actually feel it ourselves, we just keep chasing that feeling through more validation- all while missing that the thing we were looking for externally was something only we could give ourselves internally.
